The Mundoo Luxury, Low Iimpact Estuarine Cruisers The Mundoo series of luxury, low impact estuarine cruisers have evolved over the years to culminate in the fleet you see now. These wood/epoxy composite riverboats were designed and built to suit the local waters of the River Murray, one of the biggest river systems in Australia. Parts of this river are just too fast, with snags just under and above the water, to allow regular houseboats to navigate. So, the Mundoo was designed. Manoeuvrable, tough, shallow draft, quick, comfortable and environmentally friendly. These features make it a perfect craft for river waterways, estuaries and lakes. These boats are used as weekender or holiday boats and liveaboard craft. They are also well suited, when built to survey, for hire fleets, tour boats or small ferries. The Mundoo cruisers are designed to trailed, being pulled by the larger family car, so you can take them anywhere. The possibilities are endless, just ask our satisfied clients ...if you can find them amongst the vast waterways of Australia. Our designer, Michael Storer, has redrawn the plans for the Mundoo range and are now available. Mundoo II - Outboard Mundoo II offers the flexibility to access waterways throughout the country as a liveaboard river cruiser. Its shallow draft allows you into places other more conventional boats of this size cannot. Light and very easy to trailer, with fuel efficiency of a small car, cruising speeds of 8 to 10kph (knots) with a negligible wake mean that the Mundoo can travel through delicate environments with minimum impact whilst its owners have the comforts of a substantial boat.

Mundoo III - Outboard At a metre longer than the Mundoo II, the III has that extra room and comfort while still being a manageable and easily trailerable boat. She is easy to launch and retrieve and will sleep from 4 - 6 people. A great family weekender, holiday or retirement craft offering extra luxuries that you don't get in the average boat. And she'll go anywhere, being easy to manoeuvre, light, strong and quiet.

Mundoo III - Electric 34ft of fully electric elegance. Capable of near silent cruising with all the advantages of a large but shallow draft cruiser. Shower, hot water, oven, fully enclosed bathroom like all the Mundoo boats but with more room for entertaining in the larger galley area. Access to the water through the rear self draining cockpit is a real bonus and the raised foredeck provides a classic look plus increased headroom in the front "V" berth.

Capable of being easily trailed and on water speeds of 25+kph (knots) with an efficient hull that makes gentle cruising a pleasure. In survey form ideally suited as a sightseeing boat in shallow riverine areas for up to 6 passengers in comfort or use as a pleasure craft when not working.
