Freight for books, plans and clothing is AUD$15.00 up to a total of 3kg in Australia and AUD$18.00 up to 0.5kg International. (Allow 0.5kg per book, plan or clothing item)
Freight for multiple/bulky items or items over 3kg (Aust) 0.5kg (International) is charged at cost plus 10% and should be confirmed with Duck Flat Wooden Boats prior to consignment.
International Freight of larger items is also by arrangement.

Kits

Kits are packs of materials where all the major components are precut to shape and size, you just (more or less) stick them together. Kits for most of our boats are available, just drop us a line.

Materials Kits

Materials Kits are all the materials needed to build the boat to plan. Included are dimensioned solid timber, plywood sheets for you to cut out and all the other materials needed to build the boat.

Frame Kits

We make up all the sawn frames, ring frames and construction jigs to suit your specific request on the boat of your choice. Just give us call.

Bare Hulls

We construct the bare hulls for you to fit out, glassed or unglassed or to any stage you require.

All the head scratching of marking out the planks has been done! We've taken the scary plank cutting out of the equation and made it ready for you to put together. Glued lapstrake is no longer a black art, we've made it so easy, even the first timer could put one together without a drama and have a professional looking boat.
We won't tell if you won't.

These cut out hull kits are of Gaboon (top quality) ply with building moulds.
