Feather
Very pretty perfect Tender. Lightweight, easy to lift on deck. Rows well with up to three aboard. With a suitable tang bolted to the keel plank, so the tow lin and tang are in sheer and low, tows well too. Easy to build. Carry on car roof or inside wagon. Viv Hood built this one.
The pic on the left shows the reason why such a short light pram does so much. Beam, and lots of it. The compound curve that results from the glued plywood planks, combined with the lightweight compound bar effect of the gunwale and inwale gives these lightweight hulls great monocoque rigidity.
This pic shows lay of 6mm ply planks well, as well as an appreciation of the seating.
Note the leeboard. This is weighted and is moved side to side depending on tack. Suggestion: Dagger Box! Unstayed sprit rig is good.

Humble Bee
Like the Feather, but a bit fatter and longer and (since we have never built her) we THINK she has a centreboard. In addition several sail rig options are included; I'd go for the Gunter which is efficient to windward, easily understood by most sailors and a bit sporty. Downside, the bits will be a bit crowded laid inside the hull; while the sprit rig should pack into it nicely. The soft boomless Sprit and the Lug wont dent your head in a jibe, either, unlike the gunter, which has a boom. Still, it's good to suffer for artifice. Very pretty. Very small outboard OK.
Construction Options: traditional plank, strip plank, cold moulded Notes

Mouse
Reminiscent of the Joel White 'Nutshell', this is a simpler version of Humble Bee's function but with less planks and a wider transom. She'll also carry a small outboard, and will row well and comes with the sporty gunter rig as standard. Three people with the occasional holding of breath if they are gravitationally advantaged. Hallelujah, a centreboard option in these plans.

Granny
Once more a simpler glued plywood clinker construction, like the Mouse. Quite a bit bigger though, this boat will manage four with a bit of cheek (in manner I mean) and will row that much easier, because of the increased waterline length. The very handy balanced lug rig allows easy reefing and handling and rigging, while all the bits can stow within the boat.
'Granny' pram is a larger 'Mouse', same comments apply except this boat is more capable as a sea boat, but obviously less convenient to lift and stow aboard. Two balanced lug sail options provided; the smaller may be stowed within the vessel.
'Granny' Pram (pic on right) in sparkling conditions. Note the very docile balanced lug rig, one of our favourite, almost viceless andeasliy reefed or struck if trouble strikes. Pic thanks to 'Classic Boat'.
