Hartley TS18. In need of restoration after sitting in a southern suburbs (of Adelaide) shed for the past 15 years and undergoing partial preservation. Also needs a trailer.

The boat previously was a great sailer, mainly around Goolwa and Milang. Built in 1974 by an Adelaide draftsman and skilled woodworker with an attention to detail, who followed Hartley plans but changed the topsides to his own design and added his own trimmings and below-deck comforts.

This vessel has a number of extras, including cushioned seating, icebox, fold-down table, cupboards, and under-seat storage. Ballast is 150lb of lead. Overall, it’s a steady boat that sleeps four comfortably.

The boat’s fittings were removed as part of the preservation project and will need to be re-attached. Some fittings, such as jib and main halyards, will need to be replaced. The hull is the main part that needs attention. The jib, genoa and mainsail are in their original bags.

The boat is available for inspection upon request.

$980 without trailer.
